The Western Canada Psychoanalytic Society and Institute was established in 2003 (originally as the Vancouver Institute of Psychoanalysis) as a branch of the Canadian Institute of Psychoanalysis. It provides training in clinical psychoanalysis in Vancouver and is the only certified training program in psychoanalysis in Western Canada. For more information, go to www.wbcps.org.
